Green Tech

We actively support Green Tech Projects such as upcycling, urban gardening and farming. We have access to outdoor spaces that allow the sustained development of exciting nature exploring projects and programs.

Help the Environment:

Young people who access these spaces and resources gain valuable skills and experience in practical skills that allow them to pursue and develop projects and opportunities that support sustainable, ecological and green technology outcomes

Upcycling

Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products perceived to be of greater quality, such as artistic value or environmental value.

Boost the local economy

Local availability of key equipment and makerspace resources will go a long way to generating opportunities for young people to either become entrepreneurs or apprentices. It will allow the environment required to support incubation hubs for networking and collaborative activities.

Increased volunteering, job placement & further education

An added benefit from the realisation of such a project will be the high profile visibility it will bring to the neighbourhoods it services, This means that those that successfully move on either work, volunteer or study will have better access, superb skills and fantastic reference.
